Nicole C.W. Gruter received an MFA in Performance Art from University of Wisconsin at Madison. After more than 15 years carving a niche there, she moved to New Orleans where she wrote, produced, and acted in four Fringe Festival productions. Her performances as an actor also include Tennessee Williams’ “Battle of Angels,” Bertolt Brecht’s “Happy End” and absurdist Nari Tomassetti’s "Shanghai.” Ms. Gruter produces commercials, game shows, live music and cabaret shows for Allways Lounge, Music Box Village, Creative Alliance of New Orleans, Crista Rock Productions and Hinckley Productions. Gruter is featured in three books (Esoterotica).
